At Nespresso, all the coffees have a story that really shows how the company cares – for both the farms and the farmers. A good example is the Nespresso AAA Sustainable Quality program. It supports the farmers and makes sure they have everything they need to grow the beans sustainably and have a good quality of life.

To me, it’s great to get the chance to tell those types of stories. I got my start in the Boutiques where I got to talk about our products all day. Then I came to the Customer Relationship Center just so I could learn even more about the company and about the coffee. Since day one, I’ve been learning, and I’m still learning to this day.

This is a company that prides itself on service and I’m part of that. In my position, I do live monitoring to make sure we're delivering the best service and putting the customer first. I grade calls and do a little coaching. Plus, I make sure everyone is available to assist customers in a timely manner. Everything has to be ideal for our customers because they count on us to give them that great experience. The environment at the CRC – or any Nespresso location I’ve worked in – is great. The camaraderie and kindness of everyone is part of what drew me to work at Nespresso in the first place.

My love for coffee is the other half of what drew me to a career here. The quality of coffee here has really spoiled me. I was excited about the coffee when I got hired, and I’m still excited about it today. In fact, I’m actually going to Switzerland because I’m in the finals for the “Golden Capsule.” It’s an internal blind coffee taste test that Nespresso does. I identified all the blends correctly in our region. Now I’m going to represent the United States and compete against all the other global markets. It’s a really unique thing and I’m excited to be a part of it this year.

Knowing the coffee like I do, I really love all of our coffees. But if I had to pick a favorite, it would be Kazaar. It’s the most intense, has the most caffeine, and I really like the origins of the beans. So that would be my all-around favorite.
