Nestle Nespresso USA is hiring a Sales Forecast Analyst to join the growing direct to consumer department to effectively forecast machine and capsule sales with our direct channels of business. This is a newly created position that will play an important cross-functional role between the commercial team, sales, marketing, CRM and supply chain.

The Sales Forecast Analyst is responsible for the overall sales forecast on direct sales to drive goal setting, landscape to make strategic decisions and anticipate / prepare operations. We are looking for an experienced retail/wholesale forecasting analyst that is eager to make an impact and be a part of a high growth, fast-paced environment.

The Sales Forecast Analyst will:

Manage Capsule Forecasting:
- Run statistical models & produce monthly direct capsules sales forecasting aligned with sales, finance & supply chain
- Coordinate and validate bottom-up forecast from the channels
- Produce weekly & daily forecast, monitor sales and raise alerts to activate gap closing activities
- Provide order forecasting to supply chain to guide warehouse operations
- Attend capsules meeting with marketing, CRM, finance to set Direct Forecast for the company

Manage Direct Machine Forecasting:
- Run statistical models & produce monthly direct machine sales forecasting aligned with sales, finance & supply chain
- Coordinate and validate bottom-up forecast from the channels
- Produce weekly & daily forecast, monitor sales and raise alerts to activate gap closing activities
- Provide order forecasting to supply chain to guide warehouse operations
- Attend capsules meeting with marketing, CRM, finance to set Direct Forecast for the company

Manage .com Market Place Capsule Forecasting:
- Responsible for high level forecast analysis of Market Place, dot-com, AMAZON, Direct
- Validate marketplace team forecast (bottom up forecast) vs. goals, dynamic forecast
- Consolidate Market Place capsule sales to submit forecast to finance
- Monitor weekly orders and highlight any major risk to team

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience:
• 3+ years’ experience in retail or wholesale planning required
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills
• Detail oriented
• Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
• Strong negotiation skills
• Effective influencing skills. Able to influence management of strategic decisions based on data analysis and logic.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills
• Innovation minded
•Travel potential 5%
